In case you haven't been keeping up, Adam Shostack has a series of interesting articles about the Mac this week. As a regular Mac user, I highly recommend checking these out.
He started with commentary about the security ramifications of OSX86 - Apple's impending move to the x86 architecture. He moved from there on to Apple's handling of Quicktime 'pay to play' fixes. And then he rounds it all off with commentary on DRM rootkits for the Mac. There are a number of people who have said that you're de-facto in a better security position if you are using a Mac (you know who you are), but I think Adam's comments might color your view a bit if you've been holding that position.
Probably not the best week to comment to the press on the relative security of OS X.
